Accessibility Is an Ongoing Service
Zosimo is committed to making the websites we build and manage accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Accessibility is not something we address only when a website launches. We actively monitor the websites we manage for accessibility issues on an ongoing basis.
When our monitoring or review identifies an accessibility issue within an area of the website under our control, we investigate the issue, work to remediate it, and document the remediation performed.
Our Approach
Our accessibility program may include:
- accessibility-conscious design and development practices;
- automated accessibility testing and ongoing monitoring;
- review of identified accessibility issues;
- remediation of issues within our control;
- documentation of identified issues and remediation work; and
- investigation of accessibility problems reported by website users.
We use recognized accessibility guidance, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), as a reference in our accessibility efforts.
No automated tool can identify every accessibility barrier, which is why we view monitoring, remediation, and user feedback as parts of an ongoing accessibility process.
Third-Party Content and Integrations
Some functionality may be provided by third parties, including reservation systems, ordering platforms, maps, payment providers, social-media services, review platforms, and other embedded applications.
Zosimo does not control the underlying technology of independently operated third-party services. When we identify an accessibility issue involving third-party technology, we may investigate available alternatives or other reasonable measures, but we may not be able to directly modify the third party’s software.
Report an Accessibility Issue
We want to hear from you if something isn’t working.
If you encounter difficulty accessing any part of a website managed by Zosimo, please contact us at:
Please include “Accessibility” in the subject line and, if possible, tell us the page or feature you were trying to use and the problem you encountered.
We will review reported accessibility issues and make reasonable efforts to investigate and address issues within our control.
Continuous Improvement
Websites and technologies change constantly, and accessibility requires ongoing attention.
Our goal is therefore not simply to launch accessible websites, but to actively monitor, maintain, document, and improve their accessibility over time.
